Welcome

Welcome to the Archive Alchemist

A home for tools, templates, and teachings crafted from decades of community care.

I'm Maria Lisak, and I’ve spent a lifetime making, mentoring, and mobilizing — from community action programs during university in New Orleans to South Korean migrant and expat circles. This space gathers the wisdom from my many lives — programs I've built, trainings I've led, questions I’ve lived — and turns them into practical, soulful offerings for today’s changemakers.

Explore:

🔹 Letters to a Future Changemaker – Personal essays and audio messages for those walking the road of service.

🔹 Downloadable Bundles – Templates, planning guides, and program tools to help you build with heart.

🔹 Micro-books – Curated essays, blog posts, and reflections from the field, organized by theme.

This is a space for nonprofit staff, grassroots educators, and soul-driven organizers.

🌿 About the Alchemist

I’m Maria Lisak — educator, activist, and community weaver. For over 30 years, I’ve worked at the intersections of education, service, and social change. From Indiana to Jeolla, I’ve helped others start things from scratch: volunteer programs, healing workshops, youth projects, restorative circles.

This site is my archive-in-motion — a home for old blog posts, handouts, letters, and program templates that still have life left in them. I believe in reusable wisdom, in messy first drafts, and in grassroots brilliance.

If you’re designing a volunteer program, facilitating a reflective circle, or dreaming of your first community offering — I hope something here helps you move forward with clarity and care.

Let’s keep making. Together.
